The Grattan Township Board voted to implement an eight-month moratorium on the construction of any new data centers within its jurisdiction. Supervisor Frank Force confirmed to the trustees that the township's legal counsel, Bloom Sluggett in Grand Rapids, had recommended this temporary halt. The moratorium is effective immediately and is set to conclude on April 30, 2027.
