CITY MEETING: Salem council to get summary of public input as task force develops data center policies

On Monday, Sept. 28, Salem city councilors will get a summary update of the public feedback collected through an online survey and from the first Data Center Task Force town hall last week. Councilors will also consider approving appointments and reappointments to the city's budget committee, get up to speed on the city’s municipal energy plan and hold a public hearing on lowering the speed limit to 20 miles per hour on certain residential streets.
