The Lincoln County Commissioners are scheduled to discuss and consider a moratorium on data center facilities at their upcoming meeting. This renewed discussion follows a previous 3-2 vote on June 8 against declaring a moratorium, though the topic has been regularly debated in subsequent weekly meetings.

Separately, the county planning and zoning commission, which serves as an advisory board, is actively engaged in updating the county's zoning regulations that specifically pertain to data centers. The meeting will also include a dedicated period for public comments, beginning shortly after the 9 a.m. start time, with the moratorium discussion slated for 9:45 a.m. All meetings are public and held at the Lincoln County Courthouse.
