The Joliet City Council is set to vote on a proposal for the state's largest data center project. The data center would be built just outside of the Joliet city limits, at the intersection of South and West Bernard Roads.
H W Technology Park Development is seeking an annexation and development agreement from the city council to move forward with the 795-acre project. If approved, construction on the massive data center would begin in 2027.
