This breaking news development was announced at noon. The Okee-One project, a proposed data campus, was to be led by Indian River State College. It was planned for more than 200 acres on state-owned land at the former Okeechobee School for Boys. As a result of the cancellation, the college will now be required to return a portion of the grant funding it received from the state.
