Wysox residents question restriction on public comment for upcoming data center meeting

Wysox Township residents are raising concerns over the current plan to restrict public comment at an upcoming meeting focused on the proposed data center overlay zoning amendment. The meeting, scheduled for next week, is intended to present updates to the zoning document before a vote by the township supervisors. Wysox Supervisor Chairman Bill Them indicated that as of now, the meeting is not slated to include public input. However, this decision is not final and could change. Supervisors plan to discuss the meeting's format, including the possibility of allowing public comments, with Solicitor Chris Jones upon his return to town on Friday.
