Today's biggest winners and losers in the stock market, a look at the notable movers: On this episode of Stock Movers: - Anthropic has signed an $11.6 billion, seven-year contract with Akamai Technologies (AKAM) for computing power. Akamai will supply Anthropic access to central processing units, or CPUs, and has issued a warrant that gives Anthropic the right to buy Series B shares. The contract represents the largest deal in Akamai's history, with the company estimating its capital spending tied to the agreement will total about $5.5 billion. - Oracle (ORCL) sent a notice citing force majeure to the project's developer, a unit of Blue Owl Capital Inc., regarding a massive data center being built in New Mexico. The notice is an attempt to put off payments if the data center, dubbed Project Jupiter, gets derailed and fails to come online as planned, according to people familiar with the situation. A force majeure event tied to meeting power commitments could result in a delay on rent for Oracle, but the company would still have to pay other costs and owe the rent for the full lease term once payments begin. - Everpure (P) shares jump as much as 20%, the most intraday since May, after the data-storage company forecast revenue for 2028 that exceeded the average analyst estimate.
