Clayton Tucker, a Democratic candidate for Texas AG Commissioner, urged the community to take a unified stand, stating, "Only organized people can beat organized money." Steven Sanders, founder of Citizens of Lubbock Against Data Centers, initiated a petition seeking a pause on data center development in Lubbock. The petition requires 2,410 signatures by July 28th to be considered.
