Culpeper sheriff seeks help identifying two suspects in data center copper and tool thefts
The Culpeper County Sheriff's Office is seeking information about two masked suspects accused of carrying out three thefts at a data center construction site near Germanna Highway. More than $200,000 in copper piping and a large quantity of power tools were stolen between late September and late October.
The Culpeper County Sheriff's Office is asking the public to help identify two masked and gloved men suspected of making three overnight thefts at a data center construction site near Germanna Highway. The suspects allegedly cut through gates or fencing and stole more than $200,000 worth of copper piping and numerous power tools.
Sheriff Timothy Chilton said the same individuals appear to have returned to the site three times within a month. Detective Millson is leading the investigation, and authorities are asking anyone with information or knowledge of unusually discounted copper or power-tool sales to contact the sheriff's office.
