The Stonington Planning and Zoning Commission, following a public hearing on Tuesday evening, August 18, 2026, narrowly approved the master plan for a proposed technology park. Located on Liberty Street in Pawcatuck, the plan was submitted by READCO and received a 3-2 vote of approval.
READCO's attorney, John Casey, was present at the meeting to address public concerns regarding the technology park. The master plan, which includes renderings and maps detailing the development's location and layout, was ultimately approved by the commission.
