Christopher Lawe of Oklahoma, a construction worker at Meta's data center site in Lebanon, Indiana, died Monday after being struck by a pickup truck. The incident occurred around 5:43 p.m. near County Road 400 West and State Road 32.

First responders, including paramedics, arrived at the scene where other workers were already assisting Lawe. He was pronounced dead at the site. His family, including his two daughters, are mourning his loss. Police have launched an investigation into the fatal accident, leading to a temporary halt in construction work. Mortenson, the project's contractor, has announced it will offer counseling and support to employees.
