Residents challenge Google’s data center at Hermantown meeting

People in the greater Hermantown area had the chance to speak with Google about the proposed data center. This comes after months of city council meetings, protests and environmental reviews. Some residents said the open house discussion with project engineers did not address concerns from those opposed to the development. Jim Klukkert is a Duluth resident and part of the impact area of the data center. He says that the City Council of Hermantown should look more locally to help grow businesses.
