Tech giants agree to comply with Texas data center rules

Tech giants have agreed to comply with new data center rules in Texas, introduced by Governor Greg Abbott. These standards require data center projects to cover their own electric infrastructure costs, implement water reuse practices, and reduce their dependence on government subsidies. The Public Utilities Commission of Texas and the Electric Reliability Council of Texas will oversee the review of these projects.
