Three months after initial discussions commenced between utility provider Entergy and tech giant Google regarding a new data center campus in West Memphis, Arkansas, efforts began on a significant piece of state legislation. Entergy subsequently joined Arkansas state officials and the Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corp. to develop the "Generating Arkansas Jobs Act."
