Voters in portions of Adams County, Pennsylvania will head to the polls on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 for a special election to fill a vacant seat in the state's 193rd House District. The seat was left open after former Rep. Torren Ecker, a Republican who had served since 2019, resigned to become a judge on the Adams County Court of Common Pleas. The two candidates on the ballot are Republican Catherine Wallen, who previously worked as a district director for Ecker, and Democrat Todd Crawley, a retired public health official. Wallen's campaign highlights her statehouse experience and small business ownership, while Crawley has voiced opposition to data centers in the district and called for restoring the Monday deer season opener.
