DC BLOX, the developer behind a controversial data center project in Irvington, on Indianapolis's east side, has announced scaled-back plans for the facility. The company had received significant community feedback on its original proposal.

The revised plans feature only two buildings instead of the initially proposed three, along with reduced equipment and power demand. DC BLOX also stated it would expand green space at the site. This announcement comes ahead of a key vote on the project.

Last month, DC BLOX had issued a community protection pledge, agreeing to cover 100% of utility costs, adhere to strict noise limits, and make substantial investments in the Warren Township community.
