Kendra Sveum, Loudoun Water’s executive director of operations and maintenance, presented to the Chester County Council during its first data center workshop on Sept. 28. Afterward, council members asked questions submitted by residents and raised their own concerns about data center infrastructure.

Councilmember Erin Mosley asked Sveum to explain noise associated with cooling-water systems, including how it might interact with electrical equipment and other sources of noise. The presentation and question-and-answer session focused on understanding potential data center impacts as Chester County considers the issue.
