Allen County residents pack IDEM’s public hearing on Google data center permit

Allen County residents voiced strong opposition at a public hearing held by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) regarding a permit for Google's data center project in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Residents cited a lack of transparency and communication from Google, and demanded that IDEM deny the permit which would allow a significant increase in diesel generators, cooling towers, and diesel tanks at the site.
