The summit's theme, "Stewarding a New Era in Western Water," will include discussions on emerging topics such as desalination and data centers. Leading policymakers and experts are expected to attend the premier event, with registration filling up quickly.
In parallel, the Foundation is also preparing its 2027 California Water Leaders program. Prospective applicants are invited to a virtual Q&A session on November 10. The program, which includes an orientation in Sacramento on January 21, focuses on providing a deep understanding of California water issues and developing leadership skills through in-depth study, mentorship, tours, and workshops. Applications require an updated resume, a letter of interest, and a letter of support from the workplace.
