Apex Initiates Moratorium on Data Centers

The town of Apex, North Carolina is initiating a one-year moratorium on data center development after a proposed data center project by Natelli Investments was withdrawn following backlash from residents. The moratorium will give the town time to research the impacts of data centers and develop new regulations. Chatham County, adjacent to Apex, has also approved a one-year data center moratorium.
