A construction worker sustained serious injuries on the roof of a Google data center under development in LaGrange, Georgia, on Friday afternoon. The LaGrange Fire Department responded to the incident at 411 Pegasus Parkway around 2:50 p.m., where the worker was hurt approximately 50 feet above ground.
Fire personnel and first responders stabilized the injured individual before utilizing an aerial platform for their rescue. The worker was subsequently airlifted to a regional trauma center, where they are currently listed in serious but stable condition. Officials have not released details regarding the cause of the worker's injury.
