Chester County adopts moratorium on data center

This decision comes after similar actions by other regional governments, including Boone with a year-long moratorium, Rowan County also with a year-long moratorium, York County with a nine-month moratorium, and the city of Charlotte with a 150-day moratorium. While residents in Chester County are reportedly pleased with the moratorium, some express concerns that six months may not be long enough to fully address the complex issues surrounding data center development.
