Google and Beale Infrastructure are collaborating on a new 506-acre data center campus, dubbed Project Clydebank, located in unincorporated Tulsa County, just west of Owasso, Oklahoma. This significant development will necessitate new infrastructure, including a Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) substation and 1.5 miles of water lines to support the facility's operations.
Google has a substantial presence in Oklahoma, having invested over $15 billion in the state since establishing its first data center in Pryor in 2011. The company also has additional data centers under construction in Stillwater and Muskogee County. This new Tulsa County project is expected to contribute to local workforce development, including a program designed to train more than 160 electrical apprentices in Oklahoma by 2030. A full construction timeline for Project Clydebank has not yet been released.
