The primary objective of this proposed pause is to allow the Department of Planning Services to create comprehensive data center development standards. Additionally, the proposal requests other city bodies to suspend new data center approvals during this period of standard development. Notably, the moratorium would not impact the ongoing Google data center project already underway in southeast Fort Wayne.
