Entergy drops FOIA lawsuit on data center information
Entergy Arkansas has dropped its lawsuit concerning the inadvertent release of documents by state regulators. These documents contained details about Entergy's agreements related to Google's data center in West Memphis. A federal judge had previously denied Entergy's request to block further publication of these details.
Entergy Arkansas has withdrawn its lawsuit regarding documents inadvertently released by state regulators. The legal action stemmed from the publication of these documents by the Arkansas Democrat Gazette, which had obtained them through a public records request made by a central Arkansas woman. The documents in question revealed details concerning Entergy's agreements related to a Google data center in West Memphis.
Entergy Arkansas had sought a court order to prevent the further publication of these details. However, a federal judge denied this request earlier in the month.
Following the judge's decision, Entergy Arkansas proceeded to dismiss its lawsuit.
