3 Arrested After $100K in Copper Wire Stolen from Data Center Site

Three men were arrested in connection with the theft of over $100,000 in copper wire from a data center construction site in Sterling, Loudoun County, Virginia. The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglary report early Saturday morning, observing suspects loading wire into a U-Haul truck before fleeing.
Deputies pursued the truck, which eventually stopped, leading to the apprehension of three individuals: Jhamal Micah Kalil Muskelly, 21, of Alexandria; Demetrius Shaun Charlton, 23, of Falls Church; and Cordell Lamar Carter, 18, of Washington, D.C. Two other suspects reportedly remain at large. All three were charged with grand larceny and transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center, with Muskelly and Charlton held without bond. Court filings indicate previous charges and probation for Charlton and Muskelly. The suspects are scheduled for arraignment.
