Ramaswamy talks property taxes, data centers at Toledo town hall

Republican candidate for Ohio governor, Vivek Ramaswamy, addressed voters at a town hall in Toledo, detailing his platform and fielding questions on various issues, including property taxes and controversial data center developments. He was joined by his running mate, state Senate President Rob McColley, and congressional nominee Derrick Merrin.
Ramaswamy pledged to enact significant property tax cuts and crack down on Medicaid fraud. Regarding data centers, he stated that they would only be built if they benefited the local community. Outside the event, Ohio Democrats held a counter-protest, with State Rep. Erika White (D-Springfield Township) criticizing Ramaswamy's platform on economic concerns. Ramaswamy expressed confidence that his conservative policies would lead to job growth and economic success for Ohio.
