Amazon data center air permit public hearing

The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is holding a public hearing concerning a crucial air emissions permit for a proposed Amazon data center located in Hilliard, Ohio. The permit, if approved, would grant permission for the data center to operate 158 emergency diesel-powered generators. These generators are intended for use during electrical outages and for limited maintenance and testing purposes. In addition to the public hearing held on March 19th, the Ohio EPA is facilitating further public input through online submissions and mail, with comments being accepted until March 20th.
