Jonathan Nez puts water crisis, rising costs at center of CD 2 debate

Jonathan Nez, the Democratic candidate for Arizona’s 2nd Congressional District, used a one-on-one Clean Elections forum to make his case to voters. Republican incumbent Eli Crane did not respond to an invitation to participate, according to the moderator. Nez focused on rising costs, Colorado River water shortages, rural infrastructure and local control over data centers. He also criticized Crane’s record and called for federal investment in wildfire response, flood mitigation and rural communities.
