We Energies announced an agreement allowing Oracle to subscribe to between 10% and 20% of the output from the Point Beach Nuclear Plant in Two Rivers. The electricity would support Project Lighthouse, a data center campus in Port Washington that Oracle is co-developing with OpenAI.

The deal requires approval from the Wisconsin Public Service Commission. We Energies spokesman Brendan Conway said the arrangement could save the utility's other customers roughly $300 million in fuel costs over five years. Separately, We Energies has asked the commission to approve a new natural gas plant at its Fox Energy Center in Outagamie County.
