
JK Technology Services Acquires 360 Rigging to Expand Data Center Capabilities
JK Technology Services (JKTS), a subsidiary of JK Moving Services, has acquired Manassas, Virginia-based 360 Rigging. This acquisition is part of JKTS's strategy to expand its crane and rigging capabilities to meet the growing demand from data center and technology infrastructure projects. The company aims to offer end-to-end solutions for complex data center deployments, especially in Northern Virginia.
JK Technology Services (JKTS), a division of JK Moving Services, has announced the acquisition of 360 Rigging, a Manassas, Virginia-based firm specializing in crane and rigging services. The move is strategically aimed at bolstering JKTS's capabilities in handling complex data center deployments and IT relocation projects, particularly in Northern Virginia, a major hub for data center infrastructure.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The acquisition integrates 360 Rigging's specialized personnel and equipment into JKTS's Crane and Rigging Team, which is led by Dewey Snavely, a recent hire from A&A Transfer. Jeremy Hawkins, CEO of 360 Rigging, will collaborate with Snavely to guide the expanded operations.
According to David Cox, president of JK Moving Services, the acquisition allows JKTS to capitalize on the rapid growth of the technology sector, enabling the company to offer a more comprehensive, single-source solution for customers. This integrated approach, combining warehousing, transportation, staging, heavy equipment handling, and crane rigging, is designed to streamline complicated technology deployments, reducing potential delays and execution issues in data center construction. JKTS reported triple-digit growth this year and has also made several key personnel investments to support its expansion in the data center market.
