Beltline Energy, an Atlanta-based data center developer, informed a crowd of over 200 people at Perry Memorial Armory in St. Marys, Kansas, that its proposed $15 billion data center would not rely on local aquifers for its primary water supply. Ryan Sanders, a representative for Beltline Energy, stated that due to existing regulations, the company is exploring alternative water solutions, including trucking water into and waste out of the facility.

The company is actively seeking local government approval in Pottawatomie County for the large-scale project, which has generated public interest regarding its potential impact on local resources, particularly water.
