Oracle and Stack Infrastructure gave KOAT access to Project Jupiter, a roughly 1,400-acre AI data center campus under construction in Santa Teresa. The project is expected to cost $165 billion and includes large data halls, extensive equipment staging areas and technology intended to support the facility’s power and cooling needs. Oracle highlighted Bloom Energy fuel cells that use natural gas to generate electricity without combustion, as well as a closed-loop cooling system designed to reduce ongoing water consumption.

Stack Infrastructure is developing and building the campus, where about 4,400 construction workers are employed, including roughly 1,200 New Mexico residents and more than 600 workers from Doña Ana County. The tour came as the project faces community pushback over water use, air quality and transparency. Oracle executives said the company remains committed to New Mexico, will consider community feedback and plans to keep residents informed as construction continues.
