Worker killed in accident at data center in Haskell County

A fatal accident occurred at the Haydon AI Data Center in Haskell County, Texas, last week, resulting in the death of 61-year-old Omar Montero. Montero was pronounced dead at the scene on Friday around 10 a.m. According to the Haskell County Sheriff's Office, Montero was driving a semi-truck that became stuck at the data center site. While workers used a dozer to free the truck, Montero exited his vehicle despite warnings to remain inside. He was subsequently run over and killed. No other injuries related to this incident have been reported.
