The moderated discussion will delve into the significant energy and water demands of data centers, examining the strain they place on power grids and water resources. It will also cover community opposition stemming from environmental concerns and the complexities of regulating data center development.
The conversation will be co-moderated by David Strifling, associate professor of law and director of the Water Law and Policy Initiative, and Art Harrington, adjunct professor of law and counsel at Godfrey & Kahn, S.C. The event is free and open to the public, with online registration available.
