Last month, the Colorado Springs Planning Commission voted 6-2 to deny earlier appeals against the project, a decision that confirmed the city's intention to permit the development. Following this vote, those who had previously appealed were given a 10-day period to file further appeals before the project could proceed.
A city spokesperson confirmed that two new appeals have been received and will now be forwarded to the City Council for review.
