Venture Global plans to build new power plants at its Louisiana LNG terminals to provide large-scale electricity for potential AI data center customers. The company has reached agreements with GE Vernova and Baker Hughes as part of a phased expansion of computing-related power capacity.

“These new agreements (with GE Vernova and Baker Hughes) outline a phased, disciplined expansion to make reliable, large-scale power capacity available for new compute as and when we elect,” Venture Global CEO Mike Sabel said in a statement.
