Officials in rural western North Dakota's Oliver County have voted to pause data center development for about six months. The pause was put in place while the Oliver County Planning and Zoning Board works to draft new local regulations governing data centers in the area. The temporary moratorium was approved in response to a potential data center project being proposed for the county.
