Gregg Township supervisors in Union County, Pennsylvania, unanimously granted PNK Group conditional-use approval for the first phase of its proposed data center at Great Stream Commons in Allenwood. The vote followed a presentation by PNK Group Chief Development Officer Anton Voronkin and came one week after the developer’s plans were rejected by a Wisconsin city.
The approval includes 31 conditions intended to address community concerns, including the placement and noise of generators, water use, emergency response and environmental protections. Supervisors David Masser, Michael Keiser and Arthur Masser supported the project despite opposition.
