Officials noted that there are currently no active data center proposals in Oshkosh, and the moratorium would apply to future projects.
Following the Plan Commission's approval, the recommendation will now advance to the Oshkosh Common Council for a final vote. The council's next meeting, where the proposal is expected to be considered, is scheduled for September 8.
