Stafford County’s Planning Commission is scheduled to consider three data center proposals along the State Route 3 corridor in southern Stafford. The Sisson South campus would include 13 buildings totaling about 3 million square feet, while the Forest Lane and Simms Farm campuses are proposed on approximately 845 acres and 205 acres, respectively.

County staff recommends that the commission deny the rezonings for all three projects. The hearings are part of a broader schedule of public meetings in the Fredericksburg region, which also includes discussions of capital projects, solar development and local government policies in Stafford, Spotsylvania County and Fredericksburg.
