Vantage Data Centers hosted an open house in Oregon, Ohio, to answer residents’ questions about a proposed $1 billion data center near Corduroy and Wynn roads. Company representatives said they wanted to hear community feedback and explain the project ahead of a requested approval from Oregon City Council.

The proposal has drawn significant opposition from area residents. A measure that could restrict the size of data centers in the city was also expected to appear on the Nov. 3 ballot, adding uncertainty as the council considers Vantage’s request.
