This upcoming discussion follows an earlier decision by the Board of Supervisors, which had already approved an eight-month moratorium on data centers. The continued consideration of development pauses comes as at least one data center developer has secured agreements to acquire approximately 1,700 acres of land located west of Hallam, suggesting ongoing interest in the region for such projects.
