Here’s what projects were issued building permits in April

In April, a building permit was granted for a new data center within Microsoft Corp.'s Ginger West campus in West Des Moines, Iowa, according to a Business Record review of city permits. This project, located at 11100 Booneville Road, is part of 17 new developments in the Greater Des Moines area, collectively valued at over $661.5 million. The specific data center, which will span 194,962 square feet, represents a $590 million investment. Turner Construction Co. is overseeing the project as its general manager. Development for the 188-acre Ginger West campus initially commenced in 2021, with an anticipated completion date in summer 2028.
