Pike Township residents fight data center plan

A community was in an uproar Wednesday night over a proposed data center. These types of disputes are emerging across the state, and this one is unfolding on the northwest side of Indianapolis, in Pike Township. American Tower Corporation, a communication technology company, is planning a 20,000-square-foot facility in the neighborhood.
