Philadelphia-based Aramark (NYSE: ARMK) announced it has secured a multi-year contract to provide comprehensive hospitality and facilities services for a major, undisclosed AI data center colocation provider. This agreement marks an expansion of Aramark's Nexus division into the rapidly growing AI infrastructure sector, building on an earlier contract with a global hyperscale data center operator.
The new contract mandates Aramark Nexus to support workforce communities at various project sites, specifically mentioning locations in Wyoming and Texas, where hyperscale data centers are under construction or operation. The services provided will encompass dining, housekeeping, facilities management, and laundry, alongside the management of fitness centers, convenience retail, and entertainment amenities tailored for on-site workers.
Pat Liebler, president and CEO of Aramark Nexus, emphasized the increasing importance of workforce services in large-scale AI infrastructure projects.
