The Duluth Indivisible group organized a "people's forum" in Hermantown, Minnesota, to inform the community about the proposed Google Data Center. The event aimed to provide residents with unbiased information on various aspects of the project, including school financing, legal issues, and environmental impacts, without financial incentives.

Key speakers at the forum included Prescott Balch, who has experience resisting data center proposals in other communities; JT Haines, Northeastern Minnesota Director for the Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy; and Hudson Kingston, Legal Director for CURE MN, focusing on climate change and environmental litigation. Also on the panel were Cindy Olson, an expert in Minnesota public school finance, Rebecca Gilbertson, an Associate Professor of Psychology specializing in noise impacts, and David Schneider, a computational scientist with experience in industry, government, and academia.

The forum's goal, according to Joanna Bates of the Indivisible Steering Committee, was to facilitate agreement on facts and allow residents to come together to make the best decision for Hermantown regarding the data center.
