Commission approves data center moratorium

The Nodaway County Commission, which includes North District Commissioner Chris Burns, Presiding Commissioner Bill Walker, and South District Commissioner Scott Walk, unanimously approved an immediate moratorium on data center development within Nodaway County. The decision was made during a Tuesday meeting.

Prior to the vote, the commission had released a draft copy of the data center moratorium order and ordinance, indicating a planned regulatory action for the county.
