The Hermantown City Council in Minnesota is scheduled to vote on six resolutions concerning Google's proposed data center, a decision that could determine whether the project moves forward. The council meeting was initially scheduled for Oct. 27 but was adjourned after more than an hour of protests by project opponents.
A rescheduled meeting was later canceled and moved to Friday. Northern News Now said it would provide ongoing coverage of the council meeting, while residents and students separately called for a larger venue to accommodate attendees.
