The Frederick County Planning Commission has scheduled a public hearing for June 3, 2026, at 7:00 P.M. in Winchester, Virginia. The commission will deliberate on several agenda items, with a key focus on Rezoning #04-26, submitted by Virginia Technology Park. This proposal seeks to rezone approximately 220.06 acres within the Stonewall Magisterial District of Frederick County from its current Rural Areas (RA) Zoning District to a Technology-Manufacturing Park (TM) Zoning District. The Virginia Department of Transportation will conduct a joint public hearing with the Planning Commission on the proposed Six Year Plan for Secondary Roads for Fiscal 2027-2032 and the Secondary System Construction budget for Fiscal Year 2027. Residents are invited to provide comments electronically, via email, mail, or in person, regarding all items on the agenda. The meeting will be broadcast on Cable Channel 16 and live-streamed online.
